The new provisions come in force

Implementation of the new provisions governing the insurance sector. Henceforth, banks can practice insurance operations. According to the Conseil National des Assurances, the new provisions will have thea dvantage of making up for the weakness of the distribution network. However, bancassurance will in the first place be confined only to life insurance, agricultural risks, assistance, credit insurance and homeowners' risks.
