Net result in decline for Zim Re

According to the latest figures released by Zim Re Holdings, the net result of the group has known a decline of 52.8% in 2013, to 1.7 million USD.

The turnover, which has amounted to 76.89 million USD (+0.04%), came mainly from Zimbabwe (57%), Malawi (21%), Mozambique (11%) and from Zambia (5%).

The gross written premiums collected on the account of the reinsurance have shown an amount of 37.4 million USD, a drop of 10% compared to 2012.
