NAICOM estimates the market potential at 40 billion USD by 2020

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has estimated that its Insurance Market Development and Restructuring Initiative (MDRI) is going to generate a premiums volume of 6000 billion NGN (40 billion USD) by 2020. This scheme will also allow the insurance business to develop market practices of international standard.
