Munich Re's profits for 2007 reached a record

The profits announced by the German reinsurer for 2007 have reached the record figure of 3.9 billion EUR (5.1 billion USD). This performance is above the German reinsurer's forecasts which were of 3.5 to 3.8 billion EUR (4.6 to 5.0 billion USD).
