MMI Holdings acquires a majority stake in Quanta Insurance

MMI Holdings Namibia has acquired a 70% majority stake in the Namibian non life insurance company Quanta Insurance.

A subsidiary of the South African group MMI Holdings, the company hopes to set foot on the non life insurance market.

The transaction, the amount of which has not yet been disclosed, is pending approval of the supervisory authorities.
