Losses triggered by floods in Thailand

Japan’s three main insurers have reported cumulated losses of 4.3 billion USD caused by floods in Thailand. MS&AD Insurance Group Holding, the market’s number one, has announced claims worth 2.6 billion USD. Tokio Marine, the country’s second insurer has posted the figure of 1.3 billion USD. NKSJ has revised its initial loss estimate upwards from 150 million USD to 1.3 billion USD.
