Life insurance, favorite investment for many Indians

Nearly 70% of people who hold placements other than cash have invested in this type of investment. Out of these underwriters, 64% have opted for life insurance products including term deposits, with equity markets coming second (46%).

Market experts have noted that Investment patterns are changing among the most educated populations who have gradually shifted away from cash.
