Jiban Bima Corporation will create a life insurance company

The state owned insurer Jiban Bima Corp (JBC) has suggested to the authorities the creation of a local life insurance company in partnership with private firms. This proposal comes in reaction to the decision taken by both Swiss Re and Munich Re to stop providing life insurance schemes in the country.
