Japanese catastrophe, Partner Re is revising its estimates upwards

The reinsurer Partner Re has announced that it had revised its loss forecasts upwards at 730 million USD contrarily to the previously announced estimate of 500 million. The overall insured losses are estimated between 25 and 30 billion USD.
