The insurer XL is getting established in Brazil

The Brazilian insurance authorities have granted license to XL insurer, domiciled in Ireland. Based in Sao Paulo, the new subsidiary will be operational upon the end of the first quarter of 2012. It will be underwriting third party liability, property damage, occupational risks and special risks insurance.
