China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) strengthens its supervision of insurers operations on the internet.

The aim of this measure is to promote healthy development of this mode of service distribution and the protection of rights and interests of consumers.

The Commission has justified its decision by the need to focus consumer's attention on the risks associated with the use of online transactions, and strengthening its ability to fight against cyber crime.
