Insurance penetration rate

The speaker of parliament has entrusted the new head of the insurance commission, Ibrahim Kaddunabbi Lubega, with the task of popularizing insurance and increasing its penetration rate. With only 0.6%, Uganda has the lowest penetration rate of East African countries. For example, Kenya’s rate reached 2.68%.
