Insurance: Increase in the number of offences in China

Chinese insurance supervisory authorities have levied 560 fines in the course of the first five months of 2018. This number has been growing by 30% in comparison with the same period in 2017. The overall sums of fines amount to 90 million CNY (14 million USD).

Unlawful sale, misinformation, lack of clarity of the terms and conditions of the contracts are some of the examples of the violations reported.
