To the implementation of an independent body to oversee insurers

According to Yousef Ghali Abou Elsaad, assistant CEO of Reinsurance of National Takaful, Kuwaiti authorities might be working on a bill aiming at create an independent body for the supervision of insurance companies.

The law shall also stipulate the split of life and non-life activities of the sector for the newly formed companies, while sparing existing ones.
