Hannover Re to sell its stake in HDI Global Specialty

Hannover Re is selling its 49.8% stake in the capital of the joint venture HDI Global Specialty to HDI Global.

Through this transaction, the German group intends to focus on its core business and to confirm its strategic positioning as a reinsurer.

HDI Global, for its part, plans to develop its specialty insurance activities and strengthen its position on the international market.
