Guy Carpenter and Marsh merge their South African operations

merger business Brokers Guy Carpenter and Marsh, subsidiaries of the Marsh McLennan Group (MMC), are merging their facultative reinsurance operations in South Africa into one entity.

The new company will begin its operations on 1 January 2022 under the name Guy Carpenter. It will be led by Don Wright who will report to Jane March, Guy Carpenter's CEO for South Africa.
