The Kuwaiti insurer has raised its shares in the Jordanian Arab Orient to 55%. Gulf Insurance'soffensive on Arab Orient has been progressive since the start of May. Arab Orient is one of the major players on the Jordanian market with a premium income of 32.2 million JOD (45.9 million USD) in 2008.
