Gold Star Insurance increases its underwritng limits in marine and engineering

In order to conquer new market shares, Gold Star Insurance Company Limited has increased its underwriting limits in the engineering and marine classes of business.

The amount of premiums written by the company in 2006 amount to 8 billion UGX (4.6 million USD) while its profits reached 1.1 billion UGX (634 006 USD), that is, a 17% rise.
