Generali, assets cession in the United States

Generali has estimated that the planned sale of its reinsurance activities in the United States will earn it between 800 million and 1 billion USD. Two candidates would have been picked: French reinsurer Scor and the American group RGA. Generali also hopes to recover 2 billion EUR (2.6 billion USD) from the cession of BSI bank.
