The fight against climate change in Egypt

As part of the efforts to combat climate change, the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) are forming an actuarial committee.

Actuaries on the committee will be tasked with transferring knowledge, policies and practices related to climate change to local companies. This knowledge sharing would allow insurers to integrate climate risks into their business models.
