The amount of the premiums underwritten by the African Aviation Insurance Pool (AAP) has increased by 15.39% in 2009. This pool run by Africa Re has posted a turnover of 5.61 million USD in 2009 and an operational profit of 2.22 million USD, that is, a growth of 182.7% compared to 2008.
