Establishment of a health insurance plan

Qatar is about to finalise the establishment of a health insurance scheme that will cover all Qatari citizens, foreign residents and transients. A state owned company supervising the implementation of this project will be launched in the next three months. It will define the role of the public and private sectors, the tariffs applied and the services provided by this insurance plan.
