East Africa Reinsurance Company opens a subsidiary in Tanzania

East Africa Reinsurance Company (EARe), based in Nairobi (Kenya), has opened a subsidiary in Tanzania.

Named East Africa Reinsurance (Tanzania) Company, the new entity was granted approval by the Tanzanian supervisory authority (TIRA) on 8 November 2023 to start carrying out reinsurance activities in the country.

This initiative is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its position in the East African market and to improve its customer service quality.
