Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance: 2022 results and dividend distribution

Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNI) has recorded a 39% increase in its turnover to 419.112 million AED (114.1 million USD) as at 31 December 2022.

The net profit has dropped by 25% to 44.1 million AED (12 million USD) compared to the same period of 2021. The underwriting result declined by 31% to stand at 38.5 million AED (10.5 million USD).

During the period under consideration, the company's equity and assets amounted to 677.7 million AED (184.5 million USD) and 1.25 billion AED (340.3 million USD) respectively.

Dubai National held its annual General Meeting on 18 April 2023. On this occasion, the Board of Directors approved the distribution of a dividend totaling 11.55 million AED (3.1 million USD) for the past year.
