Drone insurance in India

The working group initiated by the Indian regulator IRDAI suggested setting up an insurance policy covering the risks of UAVs. The group is also providing IRDAI with a set of procedures to be established and the required documentation in the event of a claim.

The product covers third party liabilities, the drone itself and bodily injuries. An accidental medical cover is also provided to the operator.
