Demba Sy has been promoted Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Allianz Senegal. He is replacing Amine El Kernighi, who will be taking on other responsibilities within Allianz Africa.
Subject to necessary approvals, the appointment will be effective starting 1 October 2022.
D. Sy holds a master's degree in applied mathematics and computer science and an M.A.S in artificial intelligence and data management from Grenoble INP. He also holds an MBA from HEC Paris.
D. Sy joined the German group in 2002 where in 20 years of activity, he has held several executive positions including recently that of CEO of Allianz Kenya.
