Decreasing 2016 results for Kuwait Re

Kuwait Re ended the 2016 year with declining results . At 29.4 million KWD (96.3 million USD), the turnover deteriorated by 25.7% compared to 2015. The Kuwaiti reinsurer's net income decreased by 39% from 3.2 million KWD(10.6 million USD) in 2015 to 1.95 million KWD(6.39 million USD) twelve months later.

The devaluation of the various currencies and the decline in investment income account for this situation.
