Criminality, the main concern of government

The struggle against criminality is at the core of the action undertaken by the government which is planning to reinforce its police staff and to modernise its methods of investigation. The official figures refer to 18 500 murders per year that is 50 killing per day, 55 000 declared rapes and about 500 000 burglaries a year.
