Creation of a consortium dedicated to agricultural insurance in Senegal

Axa Corporate Solutions (Axa CS), CICA Re and Africa Re have created/established a consortium dedicated to the insurance of agricultural risks. Led by Africa Re, this pool will cover more than 40 000 Senegalese cotton and maize producers against climate risks.

This initiative aims at promoting agricultural insurance in Senegal, a country where 67% of the population work in this sector.
