Creation of a compensation fund for asbestos’ victims

The Senate will soon examine the law pertaining to the compensation fund for asbestos casualties that will be endowed with a 140 billion USD budget. Designed for the compensation of thousands of victims, this fund, which is financed by insurers, industrialists and professional institutions, should put an end to a lawsuit that has been dragging on for decades.
