Covid-19: U.S records highest death toll

On 2 December 2020, the United States set a new record. 2 833 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours were reported.

For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of people hospitalized due to the disease exceeds 100 000.

The United States is the country most affected by Covid-19 with a total of 14 314 265 infected and 279 867 deaths since the beginning of the health crisis.
