Compensation for the families of victims of air crashes

Four years after the plane crashes on the cities of Port Harcourt in 2005 and Abuja in 2006, victims' relatives have received only 10 000 USD in compensation instead of the 100 000 USD initially announced for each passenger.
This decision has aroused strong protests including that of the General Manager of Nigeria's civil aviation who could not find the reasons behind this change.
