Compensation of California wildfires will exceed 10 billion USD

According to experts, the damage caused by November 2018 's "Woolsey Fire" and "Camp Fire" in California is estimated at over 10 billion USD.

Part of the compensation will be borne by reinsurers among whom the giant Munich Re. Joachim Wenning, CEO of the German reinsurer, estimates his group's liability to approximately 570 million USD.
