A committee to improve penetration rate of insurance in the process of creation

At the end of the 22^nd Professional forum of the Chartered Insurance Institute Of Nigeria (CIIN), local insurers have been mandated to set up a committee designed to present strategies to improve penetration rate of insurance in Nigeria.

They have also been advised to work on the use of national languages to promote products of insurance in general and microinsurance in particular.

As a reminder, the contribution of the insurance industry to GDP declined from 0.7% to 0.6% in 2013.
