The CNMA will pursue its insurance operations for a year

By way of a decree from the Ministry of Finance, the Caisse Nationale de Mutualité Agricole, (CNMA), obtained license to pursue its insurance operations for a year. In the course of this transitional period, CNMA should proceed to the judicial and financial separation between insurance and banking activities.
The decision comes following the liquidation of CNMA's banking branch because of a deficit of 17 billion DZD (270 million USD).
