Closing of the 31st General Conference of the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF)

The 31^st GAIF General Conference completed its works on Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Beirut (Lebanon).

Among the resolutions adopted, we find the following:

• carrying out a survey on the impact of earthquakes on the insurance market,
• promoting foreign investment as well as mergers transactions,
• reinforcing the market regulation measures,
• Training executive staff members.

According to the GAIF Secretary General, these initiatives will enable member companies to improve their profitability.
