Cigna: Jerome Droesch promoted

Jerome Droesch has been appointed CEO of Cigna's healthcare and health services business. He will be managing all Cigna International Markets activities outside the United States.

Prior to his promotion, Droesch served as Cigna's CEO for Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

The new CEO will continue to serve as CEO of Cigna Insurance Management Services, based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). He will also sit on the board of directors of Cigna in India, Turkey and Australia.
