Central Bank to issue a legislation on insurtechs

The Central Bank of Bahrain has recently issued a legislation regulating online insurance platforms. The objective of the local authorities is to strengthen Bahrain's position as a pioneer in the field of insurtechs in the MENA region.

The first guidelines were sent to online insurance brokers.
