BNP Paribas Cardif sets its sights on BCC Vita

Sources close to the matter have reported that BNP Paribas Cardif is in negotiations with the Italian bank BCC Iccrea to acquire a 51% stake of its life insurance subsidiary BCC Vita.

This transaction would enable BNP Paribas Cardif and its parent organization BNP Paribas Cardif to strengthen their position in the Italian market.

Other French players such as Crédit Agricole, AXA and CNP Assurances have also shown interest in BCC Vita.
