Banque Populaire du Rwanda has launched an insurance service for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) called Insurance Premium Financing (IPF). The solution assists companies in paying their annual insurance premiums.
The bank provides various credits from which a company can draw funds ranging from 100 000 RWF (100.223 USD) to 200 million RWF (200 450 USD).
Repayment is made by monthly installments for up to 10 months at affordable interest rates. The credit can be used to pay P&C insurance premiums (fire, motor, machinery, etc.).
