AXA Egypt expands its microinsurance activities

AXA Egypt plans to expand its microinsurance activities to support small and micro enterprises. The Egyptian insurer's development strategy is based on four main pillars:

• establishing a stand-alone microinsurance company
• increasing the number of corporate clients
• expanding partnerships with online payment companies
• offering microinsurance products tailored to consumers' needs

AXA Egypt currently provides microinsurance services to 800 000 clients. The insurer expects to reach 1 million clients by the end of 2022.
