The authorities audit NIC in view of its future privatization

To pave the way for the future privatization of National Insurance Company (NIC), the authorities have proceeded to a special audit of the company, which is experiencing serious financial hardships.
Founded in 1963, NIC was nationalized in 1967. Since the sector's liberalization in1998, the company's position on the market has started to weaken.
