The August 24, 2016 earthquake toll continues to grow

The number of victims of the earthquake that hit Italy on August 24, 2016 continues to increase.

Up to the morning of August 25, 2016, in the morning, there were 247 deaths and nearly 400 injuries.

Material damage also proved to be important. The Italian Government has committed to release the sum of 234 million EUR (264 million USD) for the reconstruction of destroyed homes and buildings.
