Arope’s results in 2002

Arope Insurance has announced its financial results and achievements for the year 2002. Major financial highlights include:

• A 6% increase in those premiums that amount to USD 11.37 million.
• A 23.4% growth in Profits.
• An 23% increase in shareholders' equity.
• A further improvement in the company's solvency ratio that exceeded 6 times the ratio required.

Previously in May 2002, Arope had increased its capital from LBP 4.8 billion (3.2 million USD) to LBP 7.2 billion (4.8 million USD) by way of incorporating part of the free reserves to the capital.
