Anil Wadhwani, new CEO of Prudential

Anil Wadhwani, 53, has been appointed CEO of the British insurance company Prudential. The appointment, subject to regulatory approval, will take effect on 25 February 2023. The new CEO will be located in Hong Kong, the group's new base.

A. Wadhwani, an Indian national, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Mumbai, India.

A. Wadhwani started his career with Citibank where he held several senior management positions in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the United States during 25 years of operation. In 2017, he joined Manulife Asia as President and CEO.
