A.M.Best confirms Arab Re’s B+ rating

AM Best has confirmed the B + (good) financial strength rating and the "bbb-" long-term issuer credit rating of Arab Reinsurance Company (Arab Re). The outlook has been revised from "stable" to "negative".

These ratings reflect the strength of the Beirut-based Arab reinsurer's balance sheet. Arab Re has a long history as a reinsurer in the Middle East and North Africa. The company maintains strong and lasting relationships with its ceding companies. It benefits from a legal cession in all the countries of the zone.
