Allianz settles in Nigeria

Allianz plans to acquire 98% of the Nigerian insurer Ensure Insurance. An agreement was signed with Greenoaks Global Holdings, the majority shareholder of the company Ciblée.

The deal will enable the German group, already present in 17 African countries, to access a market of more than 180 million inhabitants. The transaction would be finalized by the end of 2017.
