Allianz invests 150 million USD in a football club

Already a sponsor of the club since 2005, Allianz now becomes a shareholder of Bayern Munich.

The German group acquired a 8.33% interest in the Bavarian club for 150 million USD.

Note that Allianz plans to launch insurance products designed specifically for fans of Bayern Munich.
