Allianz gets more of CPIC's capital

After investing 115 million EUR (154 million USD) during the initial public offering (IPO) of China Pacific Insurance (CPIC), Allianz announced that it had purchased the shares that Carlyle investment funds held in CPIC. The cost of the transaction amounts to 660 million EUR (888 million USD). Allianz' shareholding in the Chinese insurer is, henceforth, of 2.8%.
