Agricultural insurance products to be launched in Zimbabwe

The Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed a partnership agreement for the introduction of new agricultural insurance products in Zimbabwe.

The IFC will help the Zimbabwean supervisory authority develop a regulatory framework governing the agricultural sector, and select the insurance policies best tailored to farmers' needs.
